What we collect and why

The only place this site asks for your information is the free estimate form. That form asks for your name, your phone number, the city where the work would happen, the services you are interested in, your timeline, and how you prefer to be contacted.

You can also add your email address, a message about the project, and photos. Those parts are optional. You decide how much to tell us.

We ask for these things for one reason: so we can call or text you back about your painting project and give you an accurate price.

Our website host also keeps standard server records, like the general location a request came from and the time it happened. Hosting companies keep these to run the service and block abuse.

Photos you send us

If you attach photos of your walls, cabinets, or exterior, we use them to understand the job before we visit. Photos help us give you a closer price and show up prepared.

Please send photos of the work area only. Do not send pictures of documents, mail, screens, or anything else with personal details in the frame.

We do not post your photos anywhere. If we ever want to use a picture of your finished project in our gallery or on social media, we will ask you first and you can say no.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to answer you about your project. That means contacting you, asking follow up questions, scheduling a walkthrough, preparing your estimate, and doing the work if you hire us.

We also keep a simple record of the requests that come in so the owner can see which jobs need a callback and which ones are done.

We do not use your information for anything else. No marketing lists, no automated advertising profiles, no newsletters. If that ever changes, we will update this page first and you will still have to opt in.

We do not sell or rent your information

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to lead brokers, data companies, or advertisers.

Your phone number stays with us. It is how we reach you about your project and nothing more.

Who we share it with

We use a few outside companies to run this website. They handle your information only so the site can work, and only on our instructions.

One company hosts the website. One stores the estimate requests in a secure database. One delivers the email notification that tells the owner a new request came in. If we hire a helper or a crew member who needs your address to do the job, they get the details for that job only.

That is the full list today. If we add another service provider, we will update this page.

We may also share information if the law requires it, such as a valid court order, or if we need it to protect someone's safety.

Text messages

The estimate form asks how you want to be contacted. If you give us your phone number and choose text, you are telling us it is okay to text you about your project.

Our texts are about your job. Scheduling, questions, your estimate, and updates while we are working. We do not send promotional blasts.

Reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you. You can still call us or email us. Standard message and data rates from your phone carrier may apply.

How long we keep it

If you become a customer, we keep your project record for our business and tax records. That is normally seven years.

If you asked for an estimate and did not hire us, we keep the request for about two years in case you come back and want to pick up where we left off. After that we delete it.

You do not have to wait for those dates. Ask us to delete your information sooner and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you. You can ask us to correct something that is wrong. You can ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop contacting you.

To do any of that, call or email us. In Spanish call 720-486-2489. In English call 720-586-2731. Or write to alvarezqualitypainting@gmail.com and say what you want us to do.

We will answer within 45 days. Usually it takes a lot less than that. We may need to confirm you are the person who sent the request, so please contact us from the phone number or email you used on the form when you can.

Asking us to delete your information is free and we will not treat you differently for asking. If we are in the middle of your job or we are required to keep certain records, we will tell you what we have to hold onto and why.

Children

This site is for homeowners and property owners. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If you believe a child sent us information through this site, call or email us and we will delete it.

Cookies and analytics

Right now this site uses only what it needs to function. That includes remembering whether you are reading in English or Spanish, and a secure sign in for the owner's private admin area. There is no advertising tracking on this site.

If we add analytics later to see which pages people find useful, we will say so here, name the tool, and explain what it measures. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle your information changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.

If the change is a big one, like collecting something new or working with a new company, we will describe it in plain terms instead of burying it.

Alvarez Quality Painting LLC serves the Denver metro area. We work out of our trucks and at your property, so we do not list a walk in address.
